The Magnolia mayoral race is one of the races on the May 4 ballot this year. (Lizzy Spangler/Community Impact) With 17 of 24 election day precincts reporting, incumbent Todd Kana is trailing challenger and Position 2 City Council member Matthew “Doc” Dantzer in the race for Magnolia mayor, according to results from Montgomery County. Kana has 45% of the vote, and Dantzer has 55% of the vote.
