(Courtesy Montgomery County Food Bank) Since severe weather struck the region with storms in early May, causing flooding and other disruptions in Montgomery County and surrounding areas, the Montgomery County Food Bank has distributed thousands of pounds of food and water to emergency shelters and is working to support additional recovery efforts, according to a news release from the organization. The food bank has released a list of its most-needed items to continue providing support in the coming weeks.
