Conroe City Council Place 1, Place 2 and the mayor position are on the ballot for the May 4 election. (Lizzy Spangler/Community Impact) According to unofficial results from Montgomery County, Duke Coon is narrowly leading in the race for Conroe mayor with 47% of the vote. Place 1 council member Todd Yancey, who is running for mayor, has 46% of the vote, and Kristin Wilkinson-Guardino has 6% of the vote.
