The Coldspring Trojans put together a strong offensive on March 31, but despite outhitting New Waverly 11-10, they came up short in an 8-4 loss. Coldspring got off to a solid start, taking an early lead in the bottom of the first inning. Jacob Ash reached and helped plate a run with the help of a New Waverly error, and James Clark followed with a groundout RBI to give the Trojans a 2-0 advantage.
