The Conroe Police Department is investigating the death of a construction worker near a new residential development near FM 3083 and Loop 336 on Saturday afternoon. Police officials said crews were working on the drainage near the development when it collapsed, trapping two men. Workers were able to free one man but were not able to get the second man out.
