A quiet stretch of Burkegate Drive in Spring briefly turned into an active crime scene on Sunday as Harris County Precinct 4 deputies responded to an aggravated assault in the 4400 block. One suspect was taken into custody while deputies locked down the immediate area and spoke with people nearby. Officials have not released the suspect’s name, any information on possible injuries, or whether a weapon was involved. The case remained very much open as investigators continued canvassing the neighborhood.
