Montgomery High School’s Theatre Department, also known as “Montgomery Theatre”, is set to enchant audiences with its upcoming production of “Matilda: The Musical.” In a unique collaboration, the school’s talented band will perform the musical’s score live, adding an exciting dimension to the show.
Under the direction of Montgomery High’s dedicated faculty, “Matilda: The Musical” is a celebration of creativity, resilience, and imagination, telling the story of a young girl who changes her destiny through courage and intelligence.
A member of the cast shared their excitement: “Being part of ‘Matilda’ has been an incredible journey. We’re bringing a beloved story to life, and having our band play the music live makes it even more special.”
Another actor added, “This musical is about empowerment and using your voice. It’s a message that really resonates, and we hope it inspires our audience.”
