As freezing temperatures try to shut down operations in a large part of Texas, one high school has decided to keep things going. As the saying goes: “The show must go on!”
Montgomery Theatre will have it’s last two performances of “Shrek: The Musical” tonight and tomorrow night.If the weather gets worse, the plan is to move February 4th’s performance (at 7pm) to a matinee performance at 2:30pm on Saturday, February 5th.
This all-school production has been in the works for months, now and includes live music, singing and dancing. “These kids have been working so hard for this. They deserve to have all 4 performances,” one of the theatre parent’s explained. “Last weekend, we had such a great turn out and we expect the same for this weekend, too. If not, even more!”
If you are reading this article and are ready to get your family and yourself out of the house this weekend, bundle up and come on out to the Montgomery High School auditorium to watch this amazing production. Times are as follows:

- February 5th, 7:00 PM
