Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying a trio of young men who late last month held up a gas station cashier at gunpoint in Porter. Around 12:10 p.m. Oct. 22, Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the Exxon at 24645 FM 1314 about a reported aggravated robbery. Investigators learned three males entered the store with one brandishing a handgun and demanding the cashier open the cash register. After the clerk complied and the perpetrators took the money, they left in a dark four-door passenger car, according to the sheriff’s office.
