An auto-pedestrian accident Friday night has claimed the life of a 24-year-old John R. Risner of New Caney man. At 9:31 p.m. several calls came into the 911 center in regards to the accident which happened at FM 1485 and Mexican John. According to Trooper Lopez, the man was walking down the road in an unknown direction when a light blue car driven by a female who was southbound struck the man throwing him up possibly over the hood and ejecting him almost thirty feet further down the road.
