WILLIS DISTURBANCE RESULTS IN ESCAPE CHARGES

Wednesday night Willis Police were dispatched to a call in reference to several juveniles driving around waving a gun and actually pointed at one person. One of the juveniles was arrested for interfering with public duties. Prior to transporting him to Juvenile the officer took him to HCA Conroe Hospital for medical clearance. Once at the hospital the male fled running toward the Chevrolet Dealership on I-45 and jumped a fence into the Riverside Subdivision. Multiple agencies responded including both City of Conroe and Montgomery County. A Precinct 4 Deputy was just leaving the jail when he heard the call go out for a tracking dog. He was able to quickly respond to the scene. K-9, Kodiak was put on the ground in the area the male was seen and immediately picked up his scent. He tracked about 49-yards where he located the juvenile in the bed of a pickup truck. The juvenile now faces escape charges.
