On February 26, 2021 Precinct 5 Deputies attempted to conduct a stop on FM 1488 near Mostyn Manor. The male driver attempted to evade deputies. After traveling at speeds over 100mph a Magnolia Officer was able to spike the vehicle at FM 1488 and Buddy Riley. The male driver identified as Sean Chandler Ainsworth, of Cypress was taken to the Montgomery County Jail. He was charged with felony evading in a motor vehicle. His bond was set at $1500.
