Splendora entered the 2020 season with 10 seniors, the largest class for coach Chase Reneau since he took over the program. The final prep campaign for that group did not last long, unfortunately, as the coronavirus pandemic shuttered the season just a couple of weeks in. The Wildcats were robbed of a chance to get back to the playoffs for a second consecutive year.
