Due to concerns over COVID-19, the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration in The Woodlands will not take place Monday. Cheryl Tyson, chairwoman for the 2020 event, said the risk is just too big this year and she looks forward to having an even bigger celebration January 2022. This would have been the 33rd year for the annual celebration.
