For the past few months, Splendora Police have been working with the local schools, counselors, and families to bring together the 2020 Blue Santa. Over 200 children were selected. Local businesses, individuals, and organizations chipped in to make it a success. Due to the pandemic families were given a scheduled time to come to the Splendora Police Station to pick up the gifts for their children. Santa and Ms. Claus were on hand for the children. Families were scheduled to come between 9 am and 6 pm on Friday. After shopping and wrapping gifts over the past few weeks Splendora officers along with employees Tracy, Monica, and Amanda worked until almost 3 am this morning making last-minute preparations. Then they were back at 6 am putting everything in place.
