Coronavirus cases are on the rise in Montgomery County with active cases nearly doubling between Dec. 22 and Dec. 29. According to a Dec. 29 news release from the Montgomery County Hospital District, the active coronavirus cases defined by the Department of State Health Services increased by 2,212 to a total of 4,456 compared to the previous week.
