After a Livingston Police Department night shift sergeant attempted to stop a car on Pan American Drive, the driver refused to stop, beginning a vehicle pursuit Tuesday. The driver, later identified as Scott Joseph Randall, 40, of Cleveland, Texas, led officers to U.S. Highway 59 and continued fleeing at high speeds into San Jacinto County. Deputies and troopers from several agencies joined the pursuit. Randall eventually stopped and was taken into custody without incident for evading arrest/detention with a motor vehicle.
