The Houston Area Urban Forestry Council hosted its annual Tree Planting Competition on Saturday, March 7, at the Holderrieth Stormwater Detention Basin in Tomball, located in Harris County Precinct 4. Volunteers from 13 teams planted a total of 1,300 trees during the event.
