A Special Weather Statement was issued on March 11 at 1:12 PM CDT by the National Weather Service Houston/Galveston. Doppler radar tracked a line of strong thunderstorms from Cut And Shoot to Riverside, moving northeast at 35 mph. Wind gusts could reach up to 40 mph.
