A quiet Spring cul-de-sac turned into a crime scene Friday morning when an elderly man was found outside, unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound in the 20400 block of Pecan Brook Court, according to Harris County Precinct 4. First responders later pronounced the man dead as deputies secured the area and opened a death investigation.
