MONTGOMERY, Texas – A woman was detained by deputies at the Valley Ranch Shopping Center’s Target after a theft in progress was reported. The suspect, who has six prior theft convictions, now faces felony theft and possession of controlled substance charges, according to the Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office. The incident unfolded when Precinct 4 deputies responded to the theft report and quickly apprehended the female suspect. Following the investigation, it was revealed that the woman had a history of theft offenses, leading to the current felony charges.
