AUSTIN, TX – The Texas Department of Transportation has issued a warning to drivers about a new scam targeting users of toll roads in Texas.
According to TxDOT, scammers are sending text messages pretending to be from TXTag, a system used to collect tolls electronically, claiming drivers have unpaid balances or missed payments. Learn More Here.
