Montgomery County records new all-time high of active COVID-19 cases following Labor Day weekend; ICU bed usage sees slight dip before increasing

Montgomery County confirmed another all-time high of active COVID-19 cases in its latest update following Labor Day weekend, with 13,756 cases active as of Sept. 8. The last recorded decrease in active cases was on June 30. Since then, the county has seen a sharp increase, culminating in the first new record for active cases on Aug. 30.
