On February 24, 2026, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office shared the following press release including the final statistics and results for Operation Zero Traction 2026. Throughout the weekend Officers, Deputies and State Troopers worked proactively to ensure that our businesses, communities and streets remained safe during a historically volatile weekend of festivities. We thank the organizers of the Lone Star Throwdown (LST) for their cooperation and help in getting the word out to their vendors, competitors and the event attendees about our mutual desire for all to enjoy a weekend in the company of other car/truck enthusiasts while not crossing the line into criminal behavior. This event is about appreciating the beauty of cars and trucks, appreciating the power they have, learning from each other the techniques to enhance vehicles beyond the showroom floor, all while remaining safe and responsible.
