PARIS, Texas (KXII) – A man was arrested in Paris Sunday after he allegedly assaulted a restaurant manager and was accused of damaging the city jail following his arrest. According to Paris Police, Anthony Newhuis, 41, of Spring, Texas, had been asked to leave the restaurant after he allegedly verbally assaulted staff members. Police said he allegedly threatened to return and assault the restaurant’s manager after officers left.
