A 72-year-old woman from Conroe was killed Tuesday evening while crossing the street in a marked crosswalk. The crash happened around 5:03 p.m. on Tuesday at Grand Village Boulevard and Town Park Drive. A pickup truck was traveling west on Grand Village Boulevard and turned south onto Town Park Drive when it hit the woman, who was walking east in the crosswalk. First responders tried to save her, but she died at the scene. The intersection was closed for a short time while officials investigated and contacted her family, as reported by MyTexasDaily.
