THE WOODLANDS, TX — At 2:30 PM this afternoon The Woodlands Fire Department and Montgomery County Hospital District were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at Research Forest and I-45. As units were responding the call was upgraded to a vehicle rescue with Shenandoah Police Department – TX reporting two people trapped in an overturned truck. On arrival, firefighters worked quickly to stabilize the vehicle and pry open the vehicle doors to access the two patients. Both were extricated and then transported by MCHD to Hermann Memorial. The driver of the other vehicle had minor injuries but declined transport. Firefighters then worked with SPD and the wrecker drivers to clear the intersection.
